United We Stream: FEMMELY AFFAIR w/ mobilegirl from Berlin TV Tower | International Women’s Day
As part of the FEMMELY AFFAIR’s musical programme , United We Stream presents mobilegirl from the revolving restaurant ‚Sphere‘ within the Berlin TV Tower with a 360° panoramic view.
mobilegirl is a producer and DJ born in Munich, but now based in Berlin. She is known for her eclecticism both in and outside of music, taking inspiration from her past studies in design and computer science.
As a DJ she focuses on varied danceable rhythms, managing to weave together a range of styles and genres. Her mixes are often called ‚collages‘ for their unusual selection and blends. Mobilegirl’s endeavors are best described as a constant search and stretch of the comfortable. Being quite uninhibited but thoughtful in her selection, her style behind the decks is focused on a highly energetic dancefloor that allows for emotionality but also for attention-demanding breaks. In November 2016 she played her third Boiler Room show of the year at the Weekender in Lake Harmony, Pennsylvania, ranking her as the artist with the most BR appearances of 2016—which was astonishing considering she had only picked up DJing two years before.

FEMMELY AFFAIR took place in the light of International Women’s Day 2021 on March, 8th – a safe space to empower each other and nurture a vivid, global network of artists, event creators and cultural entrepreneurs. A day full of music, panels and talks!
Besides music streams from Berlin, Tbilisi and South Africa, we unite to discuss the need for a progressive development in the music industry. We want to shed a light on social movements striving for structural changes in the music sector and have a look on the discourses of our times through multidimensional lenses.
