Talita Otović is a producer, live performer and DJ based in Paris. Alongside other activities like curating exhibitions, teaching in a school and investigating her yugoslav roots, she spends most of her days+nights in the studio or on set talking to samplers, sequencers, recorders and other sound making items. In her musical choices Talita offers a real sound aesthetic, both virulent and emotive, fueled by the energy of hardcore, its penchant for cinematic soundtracks and videogames or less known genres like turbo folk.

Talita’s productions are filled with a personal strength and an aura that is tinged with her ideas, her spirituality and her emotions. Her range of productions never ceased to go wider : noise and spoken words performances with his forever b2b @gataglobal, gabber live at the darkest hours in any type of basements, electronic collab album with 12 years old kids, scoring and recording for performances, podcasts, videos. All of this suggests pretty well that her only goal on earth is being able to make a soundtrack about everything around with anyone around. Recently, Talita has joined forces with @kimberlaid and @karlfroye on the newborn label @explitymusic. She’s as well curating a radio show on @stationstation called Radioslavija dedicated to former yugoslav and balkan music. Who knows what will happened next.
